Class Dojo
At St Mary’s, we want to make sure you feel part of our school family every single day. To help us do this, we use ClassDojo, a simple and secure app that lets us share your child’s learning journey and celebrate their achievements with you in real-time.
Here is how we use ClassDojo to stay connected:
- We regularly update our Class Pages with photos and stories. It’s a great way for you to see exactly what the children are learning about and spark a conversation at the end of the school day.
- To help keep everyone organised, we share all homework information and important class updates directly through the app.
- We use “Dojo Points” to give instant encouragement. You’ll be able to see when your child earns points for hard work, kindness, and ‘most importantly’ demonstrating our core St Mary’s values.
- Every Friday, we come together for our Celebration Worship. The “Dojo Leader” from each class will be invited to a very special Afternoon Tea with the Headteacher to celebrate their success. These children are a prominent part of our worship where the whole school celebrates their success.
Joining our Community
ClassDojo is a free app and easy to use on a phone, tablet, or computer. You will receive a personal invite code to link you to your child’s account, ensuring that our updates and photos stay private to our school families. All we need you to do is provide your email address to the class teacher.
